Stop CIE business: antiracist action in Rome [EN-ES]

Rome 28th of February – Towards the 1st of March, day of struggle of migrant workers, many activists of the anti-racist networks have blocked the office of AUXILIUM, the “social cooperative” that manages the detention centre for migrants (in Italy called C.I.E.) of Rome-Ponte Galeria. The activists affirmed clearly that they are a part of the thousands of people that during the 15th of February demonstrated in front of the C.I.E. and teared down the nets that surrounded it.

The detention centres are illegitimate places, where the fundamental rights of people are continuously violated. Moreover, the conditions of life inside the C.I.E. of Ponte Galeria are terrible: in December and January the detained sewed their mouths to claim freedom and just two days ago a 20 years old guy try to commit suicide.

AUXILIUM has been targeted because is an accomplice of detention camps, that are concentration camps where people are detained without committing any crimes. AUXILIUM speculates on the lives of the detained (the cooperative gains more than 40 euros per day per each person). AUXILIUM and all the other cooperatives must stop to manage the detention centres! All detention centres must be closed forever!

YA BASTA CON EL NEGOCIO DE LOS CIE

Roma 28 de febrero. Hacia el primero de marzo, dia de lucha de los trabajadores migrantes, activistas de las redes antiracistas de Roma escracharon la sed de Auxilium, cooperative “social” que gestiona el CIE (Centro de identificaciòn y expulsion) de Roma- Ponte Galeria. Los activistas, parte de la moltitudinaria movilizaciòn de miles que marcharon el 15 de febrero en hasta la entrada del CIE atacando y derrumbando las redes del centro de identificaciòn.

Los centros de detenciòn saon lugares illegitimos, en donde hay una continua y regular violaciòn delos derechos humanos basicos. Ademàs, las condiciones de vida en el CIE de Ponte Galeria son aun mas terrible: en diciembre y en enero muchos detenidos se cosieron la boca para reclamar libertad y justo hace un par de dias un joven de 20 años ententò suicidarse.

Auxilium ha sido escrachada porque es complice de los centros de detenciòn, que son reales campos de detenciòn donde los migrantes estan detenidos sin haber cometido algun delito. Auxilium especula sobre las vidas de los detenidos (la cooperativa gana 40 euros por dia por cada migrante detenido). Exigimos que Auxilium y todas las otras cooperativas implicadas en los CIE dejen de repente a gestionar los CIE! Exigimos que todos los CIE cierren!
